Programs at Bushido Karate Dojo

At Bushido Karate Dojo, our classes and training methods are designed to bring out the very best in each individual student. Rooted in honesty, discipline, respect, and courtesy, our programs help students grow both physically and mentally in a supportive, family-focused environment.

Tiger Program (Ages 4–9)
Our Tiger program introduces young students to martial arts in a fun, structured, and engaging way. Classes focus on developing:

•Hand-eye coordination
•Balance and motor skills
•Focus and listening skills
•Respect and positive behavior

This program also helps reduce separation anxiety while building self-awareness, self-discipline, self-esteem, strength, and basic self-defense—all while keeping classes exciting and enjoyable.

Dragon Program (Ages 10–12)
Designed for pre-teens, the Dragon program builds on foundational skills while encouraging greater
independence and confidence. Students work on:

•Goal setting and focus
•Self-discipline and self-respect
•Practical self-defense
•A strong “I can do it” mindset

This program helps prepare students for the transition into
teen training by reinforcing confidence and responsibility.

Teen Program (Ages 13–17)
Our Teen program supports students during an
important stage of personal growth. Classes focus on:

•Self-confidence and self-esteem
•Self-awareness and discipline
•Effective self-defense skills
•Social skills and leadership development

Through martial arts training, teens learn to navigate challenges both on and off the mat.

Adult Program (Ages 18+)
Our adult classes provide a challenging and rewarding
way to stay active while learning valuable martial
arts skills. Training focuses on:

•Fitness and overall health
•Stress relief and mental focus
•Self-awareness and confidence
•Practical self-defense

No prior experience is necessary—adults of all fitness levels are welcome.

Special Needs Karate
At Bushido Karate Dojo, we see the ability, not the disability.

Our Special Needs Karate program is designed to support
each child’s unique strengths and abilities in a positive, encouraging environment. Martial arts training has
